Shana & Jim Perkins
Jim & Shana have been serving with ABC since September 2018 and live in Kanata with 4 of their 6 kids and 1 of their 7 grandchildren! They approach ministry and life as a team and are eager to see all that God has done and will continue to do at Almonte Baptist Church and beyond.
Jim is a huge sports fan, former athlete himself and loves singing, playing the bass, and listening to all kinds of music! Shana enjoys fitness, playing the piano, crocheting and family time at home curled up on the couch!
They’ve been married since July 1998 and have lived in the Ottawa area for almost 24 years. As mentioned, they have 6 children, 7 grandchildren, 3 dogs and a cat! In addition to church ministry, they founded (in 2008) and run a charitable organization that provides an adaptive ice hockey program to individuals with physical and/or cognitive challenges that would prevent them from being able to play on any other team: The Capital City Condors. GO CONDORS!

Elder: Carolyn Klickermann
Carolyn Klickermann is married to Chris and they have been members at Almonte Baptist Church for the past 10+ years and are enjoying active retirement in our beautiful community.
Carolyn has lived in Almonte for more than 40 years, retired from the insurance business but fully engaged with her community in many areas. She enjoys cycling, tennis, gardening & playing ukulele with 20 other friends. She especially enjoys working with the children in our church family.

Avis Ward, ABC Treasurer
Avis has attended ABC for 31 years. She and her 2 young children enjoyed the love and compassion and many special services at this small church. Avis is originally from Woodstock, New Brunswick, moving to Almonte in 1985, she found the family she so missed, in her ABC family. In 1988 she her husband Mark and has been in Almonte ever since. Over the years she has served her Lord and Saviour teaching Sunday School to both children and adults. Avis loved to sing as part of the music team. At present she serves as treasurer and mission chair. Her passion has always been missions, whether local or abroad. Being the treasurer has given Avis a change of pace, being a RN, this was a whole new learning curve. She has taken on the position which Christ has given her the ability to do. It is only through Him that she is able. Avis enjoys doing for others. Having fun at the lake and afternoon snacks. Mostly she loves spending time with her son , daughter in law, grandson, daughter and son in law. Avis can be reached at treasureralmontebaptist@bell.net
